WINTER BOY.

PSA: strong emotions on display here 😉

Well some of you may have already seen some or even a lot of these photos taken one year ago, but I still wanted to share them all here.  The photography and editing are spectacular (kudos to la sabrina).

It’s amazing to think back at who I was then, a whole entire year ago….

I was a freshman in college, fresh out of high school, living in my second apartment ever, with my second set of roommates ever. I was living in a very new and extreme climate with the coldest temperatures that I have ever experienced and the not so pleasant snow that you see in some of these photos.

I am sure that you were just as abundant in changes and growth!

I was meeting so many new people, taking new and interesting classes, making bucket lists, setting goals, and overall, LEARNING!

One year has gone by now.

365 days,

8,760 hours,

525,600 minutes,

have all passed.

We measure so many things in years:

age,

marriages,

schooling,

goals, etc.

We can use this measurement to track the progress and movement of our lives…….and we should! A measurement that has the power to catapult us into the steady motion of knocking out our dreams out of the park!

The matters that I mentioned I was engaged in one year ago, I am presently doing most of those things just the same. But doing them with that extra year under my belt. Those additional experiences and knowledge that were presented to me in my nineteenth year of life.

Some experiences are more unwelcomed than others, some of them we may even bring upon ourselves. Regardless of that circumstance, there is always something to be learned, for us to be refined through.

Acknowledge those past experiences with grace, hold on to them. Welcome these new experiences with open arms, for they make up our todays and our tomorrows.

What are some experiences that you’ve had this past year? What have been there outcomes? Any advice for the young and/or weary?

Can not wait to enjoy and create 2019, together!
